Pick a Time – Anytime

It is easy to think that you will just find time during the day and knock out a quick blog post. Actually, the reverse is true and you need to create yourself a routine. We all know that things are easier when they become ingrained enough to be habits. So you need to create yourself a schedule.

I would suggest little and often. Something becomes a habit quicker and easier the more you do it. So do it every day rather than once a week. But you might think you don’t have time every day to write a post and no, you probably don’t.

This is where you need to start chunking up your work. So, if you decide you can do an hour a day between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm then during that hour you do a blogging activity. Write an outline for a post, create the headline and choose the images, write down the main ideas. You can get a lot done in an hour. And don’t forget that even once you have published the post you can always go back and add to it.
